Hosea 1: Jezreel, Lo-Ruhamah, Lo-Ammi, And The Reversal Of Judgment

Hosea is told to take a woman of harlotry. The children born in that setting
become signs.

The children represent fruits of departure from Yahwah. The improper union
comes first. The children are the visible outcomes.

This gives the chapter its structure:

• the house departs,

• the fruit of departure appears,

• Yahwah names the fruit,

• judgment comes,

• then Yahwah reverses the judgment language.
