Hosea 1: Jezreel, Lo-Ruhamah, Lo-Ammi, And The Reversal Of Judgment

Section 6 of 12

Section 06

Judah Preserved For A Time

Hosea 1 also says Yahwah will have compassion on Judah for a time.

That matters because Judah is not immediately treated the same as the northern
kingdom. Judah has a preserved role in the visible covenant story, centered
around Jerusalem, the Temple frame, and the later public identity that becomes
Judean/Jewish.

But "preserved for a time" does not mean "never judged."
